About Eugene

"Eugene" is a twenty-something optimist with a penchant for all things craft-related.  She bakes tremendously delicious (if not entirely visually perfect) confections and all manner of pastries, she cleans as a means of catharsis, and she fills her time with random musings about...well, everything.

The Diaries of Eugene began back in 2006, as a 500-word column in the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) newspaper, The Beacon.  After gaining popularity for stating the obvious, "Eugene" found a more universal public outlet on such wonderful social media sites as blogger, tumblr, twitter, facebook...the list goes on.

The main goal of The Diaries of Eugene is to engage the public in sharing their knowledge, skills, and opinions.  Otherwise, why even have a public blog at all, right?
